Hydroseeding

From damaged lawns to new growth area…we create healthy and green at a fraction of the cost.

Hydroseeding is the process of mixing seed, fertilizer, tackifier and wood fiber mulch with water in correct proportions inside of a tank, then spraying the mixture onto designated lawn areas. This process ensures that the site is evenly seeded, properly fertilized, bonded and protected in a single application.

At PA Hydroseeding, we’ve focused on hydroseeding and erosion control services for all project sizes, from large multi-acre, local highway projects to smaller commercial and residential hydroseeding applications. Advantages of Hydroseeding vs. Regular Seeding or Sodding

  • The seed is suspended in a nutrient rich mixture and water, which triggers faster germination, even prior to the seed reaching the ground.
  • The mulch that is included seals in the moisture when applied and helps holds the soil and moisture in place up to 10 times longer, producing a greenhouse-like effect that encourages growth.
  • After application, the seed settles at an ideal depth for great results and produces them in a very short time. Grass begins to come up within a week and your lawn should be ready to mow in 3-4 weeks.
  • Hydroseeding is environmental friendly and cost-effective.
